Rare Alaia Butterfly catsuit with artwork by noted artist Thierry Perez, a frequent Alaia collaborator. Alaia's butterfly inspiration has been attributed to Elsa Schiaparelli.
Catsuit fashioned of heavy rayon viscose two-tone green and brown with butterfly artistry in blue, yellow and red. From the Butterfly Collection, circa 1992, and documented in Alaia book by Francois Baudot. This is a collector and museum piece and is also found in a number of permanent museum collections.
