Madame Gres circa 1970's dramatic rich violet purple and soft pink fashioned in a two color-way silk pattern and bias cut with a soft fluid drape to the body. Gres' fashions were complicated and sophisticated but in actuality the gowns were made to be worn with comfort and ease. Hook closure at neckline and a long tie belt inserted into the side of dress and tied around side waist. Unlined. Side zipper closure.
