Designed in a direct reference to the voluminous evening coats from the golden age of postwar haute couture, this De la Renta creation successfully merges the romanticism of Dior and the sculptural drama of a Balenciaga creation. The coat has a finely pleated bias cut full collar which can be worn close to the neck or falling away from the shoulders. Neckline fastened with a small single covered button closure. Unlined.
