Rare 1987 Jean Paul Gaultier two-tone lambskin leather ensemble depicting the designer's whimsical approach to fashion using a sports related theme. Baseball jacket fashioned of deep red and creme lambskin leather with black and white knit trim, front zipper closure and signature pockets typical of the baseball jacket style. Skirt of black spandex is attached to bodice and extends into body hugging tube skirt allowing it to be worn as a dress for evening attire. Additionally, ensemble includes a matching one piece strapless black spandex tube top attached to red leather pants with ankle zipper closures. The matching top and pants allows the pieces to be worn together or separately. Very innovative and inventive as well as being extremely functional garments.
