An enchanting evening ensemble by noted award winning New York milliner KOKIN. In the mid 90's, KOKIN designed a number of couture clothing collections for upscale department stores Bendel's, Saks Fifth Ave, and Bergdorf Goodman. The collections were exquisitely designed, fashioned of luxurious fabrics and featured exceptional haute couture tailoring and workmanship.
Provenance: Betsy Bloomingdale Gown is a form fitting sheath with inverted halter scoop neckline adornment. Fabric pattern is a black circular silk textured brocade with single sequin center. Back kick pleat; finished seaming. The matching double faced long evening coat of black organza boasts bell sleeves and inverted back pleating. Makes a very dramatic fashion statement and an excellent entrance piece. Both the gown and matching coat are beautifully made.
