Derek Lam is a hot fashion designer and formerly an assistant for Michael Kors.... so you know he was well trained! In 2005, Lam won the CFDA Perry Ellis Swarovski Award for new designers and started his own clothing line. He is known for his crisp, lean and feminine silhouettes.
