A strapless sheath style haute couture gown designed by noted French designer, Madeleine de Rauch (1896-1985) who was known for her beautiful, tasteful and extravagant eveningwear. The House of de Rauch opened in 1938 and closed in 1973.

This stunning strapless gown fashioned of very fine quality heavy turquoise silk faille with a hint of metallic. Very well constructed and made with strong interior boned corset and inverted back pleat. Gown circa early 1960's.

Condition: excellent condition

Bust: to 37"; waist: 30"; hips: approx. 40"; length: approx. 52" (3" hem allowance)
