In the Spring/Summer of 2001 Valentino designed one of the most over-the-top collections with most items being big store sellouts! It was simply a glorious collection to watch on the catwalk .... a visual feast for the eyes and many creations were highly coveted and are now very difficult to find. This suit being offered, in my opinion, was one of the best suits Valentino ever designed, featuring high style, sex appeal and pizzaz! Also, a big sellout .... and I have yet to see this suit again! Retailed at $6,000 plus tax. Suit offered is identical to that in the runway photos. Fitted collarless jacket with single bow closure and form fitting pencil skirt fashioned of two-tone creme and coco fine light Italian wool and silk blend. Skirt features flat front with no waistband; back zipper closure; sexy kick pleat. Both pieces silk lined.
