Rare Zandra Rhodes safety pin chain dress from the designer's 1970's Punk collection inspired by Elsa Schiaparelli.
Dress fashioned of black rayon jersey with double backed goldish bronze satin halter bodice with asymmetric ties adorned with crystals. Empire waistline is designed with safety pins and chains linked together in her signature squiggly design found in many of her textile patterns. Side hip has long panel adorned with chain and safety pin. A few small eyelet flowers on skirt. Dresses from this collection are rare to find. condition: excellent  |
